TASC Celebrates 1st Anniversary with Virtual Caribbean Bar Crawl

Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean (TASC) continues its 1-year Anniversary celebration by highlighting some of the amazing entertainment options throughout the Caribbean. The first stop on the virtual celebration tour was Ana’s on the Beach in Antigua and Barbuda. Every week during the month of September, TASC will host a virtual “happy hour” event in a different Caribbean destination. This initiative is part of TASC’s goals of providing travel advisors with continuous hands-on education and insider information to better sell the Caribbean.

The Virtual Party Series is a spin off of the highly acclaimed “Destination-A-Day Spotlight,” which was a part of TASC’s Caribbean Heritage Month Celebrations during the month of June.

“We are featuring Saint Lucia at our next virtual event. Orlando’s Restaurant and Bar was recently recognized on Travel and Leisure’s 2020 list of the “World’s Best Restaurants.” It was the only Caribbean restaurant on the list. We are honored to showcase this restaurant and to educate our travel advisors about the range of entertainment options that the Caribbean has to offer. We will showcase the decadent dining experiences at Orlando’s via a virtual tour of this award winning restaurant,” said Kelly Fontenelle, TASC Founder.

The chef and bartenders at Orlando’s will be on hand to conduct live demos of some of the restaurant’s signature food and drinks. The staff will conduct a virtual tour to highlight the sunset views as well as new traffic patterns and social distancing protocols that have been established to ensure the health and safety of guests.

TASC’s showcase of some of the most vibrant dining establishments in the Caribbean is intended to generate greater awareness of the region in the lead up to the 2020/21 season. Other stops on the The Virtual Party Series: Prickly Pear Restaurant and Bar in Anguilla, Vibes Beach Bar in St. Kitts and Nevis and Esther’s Bar and Restaurant in Grenada. Travel advisors can earn commissions on group bookings at all of the establishments featured in The Virtual Party Series.

“Our 6000+ members are always on the lookout for new products to add to their portfolios and we are so excited to take them on this virtual tour to unveil some of the gems of the Caribbean and to indulge all of the senses, “ Fontenelle added.
